What is language?

Language is the human capacity for acquiring and using complex systems of communication, and a language is any specific example of such a system (Wikipedia, 2014).

Literature is everything written in books, on webpage's, articles, newspaper and other written works of any language.

This quote is funny and spot on.

“Literature is a textually transmitted disease, normally contracted in childhood.”

(Yolen, 2014)

This quote by Oscar Wilde is probably true in most cases.

"The difference between literature and journalism is that journalism is unreadable and literature is not read."

(Wilde, 2014)

Learning a language

If you have the brains you can learn a language, Homo sapiens have the ability to learn syllables to communicate with each other, in other words human can learn a language.

How can you learn a new language?

If you want to learn a new language one of the most important things is you have to be willing to spend time to learn. Some study faster than another but usually it will take some time to learn a new language.

A way to start you study

Start with learning words that you can use. It is great if you know many hard words but if you cannot use them and you still cannot order a drink on your holiday it is useless.

First, find yourself books and audio material. If you have found them, then you can start studying, you can start with half an hour per day the most important part is do not stop studying for long periods of time. When you think you have a good sense of the language try reading a book. To finish your study listen to foreign radio or TV.

The difference between learning and acquiring a new language.

Acquiring a new language does not require an extensive knowledge of grammatical rules. Acquiring is just to be able to communicate between persons.
