Some Languages are Spoken More Quickly than Others
The speed in which some languages are spoken has a lot to do with the dialect. Influences on speaking rate are for instance social and personal factors. Speaking faster under stress and slower when relaxed. At this moment claims of major differences in speech rate between languages has no foundation of actual proof.
